Senior Elixir Developer Assignment

Job Description

We are looking, on behalf of our client, for a Senior Backend Developer with extensive experience in Elixir and OTP for a long-term consulting assignment. You will join a small, highly skilled development team building and further developing scalable, business-critical backend services with high requirements for availability, performance, and stability. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys working hands-on with technology and wants to work with complex systems in a modern product organization. We are looking for someone who has:

At least 6 years of professional experience with Elixir and OTP, including production systemsExperience building scalable, high-performance, and robust systemsA strong understanding of system architecture and architectural designExperience with caching, message queues, and service-oriented architecturesA strong understanding of code quality, testing, and maintainabilityExperience with Linux and infrastructureExperience with areas such as deployment, monitoring, alerting, load testing, and troubleshooting in production environmentThe ability to work independently while also being a strong team playerExcellent spoken and written English
