Senior Embedded Engineer

Senior Embedded Developer – 6-Month Contract | Stockholm, Sweden We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Developer to join an engineering team in Stockholm, Sweden on a 6-month contract assignment.The role focuses on the development of embedded software for advanced audio systems, working across platform development, board support packages, audio-related modules and product testing. The Role As a Senior Embedded Developer, you will be responsible for: Developing embedded software for audio systemsArchitecting and developing Board Support Packages (BSPs)Developing innovative audio-related modulesCreating modular, reusable code for a platform supporting multiple productsParticipating in code reviews and technical documentationDeveloping and evaluating Proof of Concepts (PoCs)Improving build systems and product testingWorking closely with other engineers to solve complex technical challenges What We're Looking For You should have several years of experience working as a Senior Embedded Developer or in a similar role, together with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Key technical requirements include: Expert-level C programmingKnowledge of PythonExperience with RTOS, such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr or similarStrong experience developing embedded systems based on microcontrollers (MCUs)Solid understanding of MCU architecture and peripheralsExperience with Git and build systems such as Make or CMakeFamiliarity with Bluetooth, BLE and Wi-FiAbility to work effectively as part of a collaborative engineering teamA creative and adaptable approach to solving technical problems Nice to Have Experience with any of the following would be an advantage: GCC toolchainBash and LinuxRustC++ The Assignment This is a 6-month contract assignment based on-site in Stockholm, Sweden.If you are an experienced embedded developer with strong C skills and a background in MCU-based systems, RTOS and connectivity technologies, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
