Senior GCP Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Senior GCP Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve cloud platform capabilities in a complex enterprise environment.You will work hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, GKE, and Terraform, helping engineering teams build, deploy, and operate secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-based workloads.The role combines platform engineering, infrastructure automation, cloud security, CI/CD, and developer enablement. You will collaborate with architects, platform engineers, data engineers, and security teams to improve platform capabilities and enable engineering teams to work more efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and improve cloud platform capabilities on GCP.Develop and operate GKE/Kubernetes environments and container-based workloads.Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.Build and improve CI/CD and GitOps-based delivery workflows.Manage cloud networking, IAM, workload identity, and security configurations.Develop reusable platform components and self-service capabilities for engineering teams.Improve monitoring, logging, observability, and operational reliability.Support engineering teams in onboarding and operating workloads on the platform.Contribute to platform architecture, technical standards, and long-term improvements.RequirementsSenior-level experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps.Strong, hands-on production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Proven experience with GKE and Kubernetes.Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.Experience building cloud platform foundations or landing zones.Practical knowledge of IAM, workload identity, networking, and cloud security.Experience with CI/CD automation and cloud infrastructure delivery.Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability.Ability to support multiple engineering teams in an enterprise environment.Strong technical ownership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Professional fluency in English.PreferredGCP data services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.Apache Beam, data ingestion, or streaming platforms.GitOps, Helm, Backstage, or Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).Python and Bash scripting.GCP networking and security services.Multi-cloud environments involving GCP, AWS, or Azure.Platform engineering in regulated or security-sensitive environments.Developer self-service and platform enablement.
