Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

What You’ll Do

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer acts as a mechanical specialist for large UPS systems and Special Systems customers across the EMEA region, supporting pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise, customized UPS design, and customer-facing engineering guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Support internal sales organizations with technical and commercial UPS requests byanalyzing customer requirementsmaking feasibility studies, cost analysis and supporting materialdesigning customized UPS solutions together with several stake holders (R&D, Product Marketing, Production, Sales, Suppliers etc.)Act as a mechanical expert in customer visits, witness tests and demonstrations.Execute and manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete projects with tight deadlines on time.

University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentSolid mechanical design experience in relevant industry

Skills

Technical knowledge on mechanical design in electrical systems and solutionsExperience on UPS/frequency converter technologies and assemblies is an advantageKnowledge of Creo design tools and environment or similarUnderstanding of product compliancy regulationsFluency in English and basics in FinnishStrong work ethic, Communication and interpersonal skills, Positive attitude, Problem-Solving Skills, Teamwork, Resilience
