Senior Originator - ITB/Global Trade & Commodities (GTC)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Originator to join our Nordic Trade Team, specializing in Trade Finance and Working Capital Solutions. In this role, you will be originating and structuring trade finance and working capital solutions, such as letters of credit, structured trade financing, supply chain financing, receivables financing/monetization. You will be part of a team running a diverse portfolio. Identifying and closing complex trade & working capital solutions will be key in this role. About the role:The Originator – will be responsible for sales of Trade and Working Capital solutions with CACIB clients. As originator you will manage the transactions from origination to execution.Identify opportunities and successfully sell innovative solutions to bank clientsThe role targets the expansion of CACIBs clients portfolio in the NordicsAct as advisor, consultant, and first point of contact for clients working capital & trade finance needsManage client journey from sales to implementationStrong marketing skills and ability to develop new relationships and maintaining existing relationships Essential for the job:Market Working Capital products (Receivables, SCF, Structured Trade, Letters of Credit etc.) to potential CACIB clients and proactively look for new business opportunities covering domestic or cross-border tradePreparation of pitches. Analysis of client’s financial strategy and their financial reports and compare them with their peers in the relevant sector, as well as presenting how the CACIB trade products can support the client for it to achieve its strategic goals.Maintain knowledge and awareness of key trends across our core sectors and potential application of our working capital products.Contribute to the creation and future development of the product proposition through regular sharing of client feedback.Coordinate stakeholders both internal and external (Legal firms, Insurers, brokers etc.)Ensure understanding of the Banks operating practices and governance and ensure these are followed in line with the guidelines.Provide pricing / market intelligence to transactions, ensuring transaction profitability in line with the Bank’s capital models presenting to the relevant committees,Perform first line of defense role for the bank across all risks: Financial/ Credit, Legal, Reputational, Regulatory, Compliance, etc.Reporting to senior management regarding the progress of the commercial agenda.At least 5 years of experience in the field of Trade and Working CapitalA strong network among Nordic Trade Finance community Qualifications:5+ years of experience in Trade Finance/ Payables/ Receivables FinancingExisting client contacts with Nordic corporatesKnowledge of Working Capital Products & Trade Finance dealsHigh motivation, proactivity, and accomplished business origination skillsSignificant financial knowledge (Working capital cycle, cash flow forecasting, financial statement analysis, modelling etc.)High level of presentation and organizational skillsUnderstanding of mechanics, drivers and risks associated with Trade and Working Capital ProductsUnderstanding the competitive market and the role of technology within Working Capital and Trade financeCapability to develop relationships inside the organization to collaborate across geographical boundariesIn depth understanding of the front to back execution process trade productsBachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree and/or work experience, in Business, Finance, or a related field.Fluency in English mandatoryFluency in one Nordic language (Swedish/Norwegian/Danish or Finnish) is mandatory
