Senior Product Designer

In 2027, the Finnish license market will open, bringing a new era for iGaming. At Veikkaus, we’re preparing for this transformation now. We’re building the future of digital gaming experiences in a rapidly evolving market and we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape seamless, engaging experiences for the next era of gaming

This hands on -role is about shaping the product experience end to end — from concepts, flows, interaction patterns to polished UI and the details that give the product its quality in use. You’ll collaborate closely with product designers, researchers, product owners and developers to shape solutions that connect customer needs with business goals in a clear and meaningful way. The position is permanent and full-time.

The position is located at Veikkaus’ headquarters in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki. We work flexibly in a hybrid model with three on-site days per week. The role can also be located in Sweden or Malta.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design of key features, from discovery to deliveryCreate user flows, concepts, prototypes, high-fidelity UI and design documentationUse research, data and experimentation to inform design decisionsFacilitate workshops, support alignment, and help elevate design quality across the team

Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in product or UX design, with a proven track record in consumer digital productsExperience designing and shipping native mobile and responsive web experiences, with a strong app-first mindsetStrong skills in UX, interaction design, UI design, and design systemsAbility to use research, customer insight, data, and analytics to inform design decisions and improve outcomesClear communicator who can explain design thinking, align stakeholders, and work effectively with feedbackExperience mentoring others and contributing to a strong design cultureProficiency in Figma, including prototyping, libraries, collaboration practices and AI-supported workflowsExperience designing for iOS, Android, and responsive web with a solid understanding of platform conventionsExperience in the international iGaming industry is highly valuedBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
