About the Company
We are currently establishing a new stand-alone company following the sale of our business division. As part of this transformation, we are rebuilding our IT infrastructure and SAP landscape from the ground up.
About the Role
To support this transformation, we are looking for an external Junior IT Controller / IT Project Controller to provide us for an initial 6-month service for program/project finance management. The resource from this service will support the financial controlling of our IT build-up projects and work closely with IT, Finance, Procurement and Project Management. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic transformation environment, offering the opportunity to gain broad exposure to IT controlling, project controlling and the financial aspects of setting up a new stand-alone organization.
Responsibilities
Support the financial controlling of IT build-up and transformation projectsSupport project managers with budget planning, forecasting and actual cost trackingMonitor project budgets, actual costs, purchase orders and commitmentsPrepare regular project controlling reports and management overviewsAnalyze variances between budget, forecast and actualsSupport the preparation and maintenance of project budgets and forecastsTrack CAPEX/OPEX, invoices and project-related commitmentsSupport accruals and period-end closing activitiesEnsure transparency of IT project costs across different workstreamsSupport financial tracking of external vendors and service providersIdentify and escalate potential cost risks and deviationsWork closely with IT Project Managers, Finance, Procurement and other stakeholdersContribute to establishing and improving IT controlling processes and reporting structuresSupport ad-hoc financial analyses and management requests
