Senior Software Engineer – Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise and a passion for building high-quality systems. In this role, you will take technical ownership of our Equity post-trade platform, driving architecture, modernization, and delivering robust solutions in a complex domain.

What You’ll Do

Take end-to-end ownership of features from design to productionDesign, build, and implement solutions using C#, .NET, REST APIs, and microservicesDrive modernization of legacy, database-heavy systems into modular, maintainable architecturesContribute directly to architecture and design decisions with a strong engineering mindsetDefine and execute technical solutions aligned with product and business needsWrite clean, efficient, and production-grade code with focus on performance and scalabilityTake ownership of problem-solving in a complex, high-impact domainWork effectively in a distributed setup across locations

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience with C#, .NET, SQL, APIs, and microservices architectureProven track record in modernizing legacy systems and refactoring monolithic applicationsSolid understanding of system design and building scalable, resilient solutionsHands-on engineer with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityAbility to work independently and drive technical solutions forwardExperience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices

Experience in Capital Markets or Equity post-trade systemsUnderstanding of equity trading workflowsExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architecturesBackground in product-driven engineering environments
