Skilled CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist / Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) OperatorWe are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with strong experience in vertical turning lathes (VTL / vertical carousel lathes) for industrial production in Finland.The position involves machining large and heavy components, so we are looking for someone who is confident working independently, understands machining processes well and has solid experience with CNC programming directly from the machine control panel.Requirements:Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a CNC machinistStrong experience with vertical turning lathes (VTL / carousel lathes)Ability to program directly on the CNC control panelExperience with Siemens and/or Heidenhain controlsVery good knowledge of cutting tools, tool selection and machining parametersAbility to read and work from technical drawingsExperience machining large and heavy componentsAbility to safely operate an overhead crane for handling heavy workpiecesAbility to work independently and accuratelyValid CV with detailed work historyProfessional references from previous employersPrevious experience in heavy metal, engineering or large-component machining is highly valued.📍 Location: FinlandIf you have relevant experience, please send me your CV and references via LinkedIn message.Please note: We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on experience in vertical turning and CNC programming.
