This is not an entry-level social media role. We specifically want someone who has worked with established DTC eCommerce brands operating at significant scale.You must be able to demonstrate measurable organic social results you've personally contributed to, such as improvements in reach, engagement, followers, traffic, community activity, or other meaningful KPIs. Our content strategy and creative production are already in place. Your role is to ensure our channels never go dark, content is published correctly and on time, communities are managed professionally, and organic performance continues to improve. About the CompanyWe're a fast-growing pet eCommerce business operating two DTC brands.With $1M+ in combined monthly marketing spend and a strong creative production engine, social media is an important channel for customer discovery, engagement, and brand growth.We already have strategy and creative resources in place. We need an experienced operator who can take ownership of daily social execution, maintain high standards, and turn our existing content engine into measurable organic growth. The RoleYou'll own the day-to-day execution and health of our social media channels.You are not joining as the primary content strategist or creative producer. Your responsibility is to execute the existing strategy exceptionally well.You'll own:Social publishing and schedulingDaily community management and moderationContent pipeline managementProfile and platform healthOrganic performance monitoringReporting and operational updatesIf you're doing your job well:Approved content is published accurately and on schedule.Comments and community interactions are actively managed.The content pipeline never unexpectedly runs dry.Profiles remain active, current, and professional.Organic performance improves through disciplined execution.Leadership has clear visibility without needing to chase updates. ResponsibilitiesYou will be accountable for:Publishing: Ensure approved content goes live accurately and on schedule across all relevant platforms.Community Management: Monitor comments, respond to routine interactions, remove spam, and escalate sensitive issues when necessary.Content Pipeline: Maintain visibility over upcoming content and proactively flag gaps before they become publishing problems.Platform Health: Keep profiles, bios, links, settings, and account details accurate and up to date.Performance Monitoring: Track organic performance and identify patterns, opportunities, and execution improvements.Reporting: Provide clear updates on publishing status, pipeline health, organic performance, and issues requiring attention.You won't be measured on how busy you are.You'll be measured on whether our social operation runs reliably and produces results. What Success Looks LikeYou're succeeding when:95%+ of approved content is published on schedule and without errors.Comments and community interactions are consistently monitored and moderated.Spam and inappropriate comments are handled quickly.The content pipeline doesn't unexpectedly run dry.Social profiles remain current, polished, and professionally managed.Organic reach, engagement, community growth, and other agreed KPIs improve over time.Leadership doesn't have to ask whether content was published or channels are being monitored.Exact organic performance benchmarks will be agreed based on each brand's current baseline.Required ExperienceMid-Level / MediorWe're not looking for a junior Social Media Manager. You should already understand how to operate inside a real DTC eCommerce environment and be able to take ownership without constant supervision. You should have:Hands-on experience managing social media for DTC/eCommerce brands.Experience working with DTC eCommerce brands generating at least $1M in monthly revenue.Experience working within an established marketing and content operation.A track record of contributing to measurable organic social growth.Specific results you can discuss, including reach, engagement, followers, traffic, community growth, or other relevant KPIs.Experience publishing across multiple social platforms.Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.Professional community and comment management experience.Excellent attention to detail and organization.The ability to work independently.A proactive mindset—you identify problems before they become emergencies.Be prepared to share examples and numbers from previous accounts you've managed.We're more interested in what you actually achieved than how many years you've had "Social Media Manager" in your job title.
