Specialist, Application Security

**In this role,** you will promote secure-by-design and secure-by-default practices, enabling business innovation, digital transformation and operational resilience.

**Your key responsibilities**

• Develop and maintain application security standards, requirements and best practices

• Ensure security requirements are integrated into application development and procurement processes

• Establish and promote secure software development lifecycle practices

• Support integration of security controls into CI/CD pipelines

• Drive adoption of DevSecOps principles across development teams

• Provide expert guidance to project teams and application owners

• Increase awareness of application security risks and best practices

**What we are looking for**

• Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in cyber security, application development, software engineering or related disciplines

• Understanding of SSDLC, OWASP Top 10, application security testing, secure coding, threat modelling, API security, authentication and authorization technologies, IAM and DevSecOps

• Experience with cloud-native and modern application architectures is preferred

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is an advantage
