What you’ll doLead the architecture and delivery of scalable, highly reliable backend services written in Go.Solve complex distributed-systems problems involving performance, resilience, observability, and correctness.Drive technical initiatives across several engineering squads, from discovery through production rollout.Partner closely with Product, Platform, Data, and Engineering leaders to turn customer needs into pragmatic, high-impact solutions.Apply Domain-Driven Design to create clear service boundaries and maintainable domain models.Raise engineering standards across testing, code quality, documentation, operational readiness, and incident prevention.Mentor engineers and provide thoughtful technical leadership without stepping away from hands-on development. What we’re looking forSignificant backend engineering experience, with deep commercial experience using Go in production.Experience designing and operating large-scale, distributed, API-driven services.Proven technical leadership across complex projects involving multiple teams or systems.Strong knowledge of scalable system design, reliability engineering, secure development, and software observability.A product mindset: you care about the customer and can connect engineering decisions to business outcomes.High standards for clean code, automated testing, constructive code reviews, and long-term maintainability.The ability to communicate clearly and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders in English.
