Infrastructure Applications is a team of seven engineers responsible for central infrastructure services and platforms within Tele2. We operate and develop business-critical systems used across the organization and are part of Mobile Core Network, responsible for ensuring stable and secure operation and development of Tele2's mobile network.

Operating, maintaining and developing Linux-based systems and infrastructure servicesTroubleshooting and problem solving in complex technical environmentsAutomating recurring operational tasks and improving existing ways of workingLifecycle management, including patching, upgrades and platform maintenanceWorking with central services within areas such as DNS, logging and observabilityParticipating in technical projects and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team

Strong experience working with and operating Linux environmentsExperience from large-scale virtual and physical server environmentsGood understanding of networking and IT infrastructureExperience with scripting and automationExperience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go and/or CUnderstanding of lifecycle management, patching and system upgradesGood communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

It is an advantage if you have experience or knowledge within one or more of the following areas:

DNS infrastructureElasticsearchLogging and observabilityInfrastructure within telecommunicationsInfrastructure automationExperience from highly available and business-critical infrastructure environments
