Systems Engineer – Swedish Defence SectorLocation: Västerås, Västmanland County, Sweden Join a Swedish defence-related organisation developing advanced, mission-critical systems across complex engineering domains. As a Systems Engineer, you will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from concept and requirements through to integration, verification and validation. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine, analyse and manage system and subsystem requirementsSupport system architecture, functional decomposition and interface managementWork across integration, verification & validation (V&V) and system testingPerform technical analysis, troubleshooting and risk assessmentsSupport configuration and change management and technical documentationCollaborate with hardware, software, production and test teams within a V-model systems engineering environment

Experience with or knowledge of:Requirements Engineering / Requirements ManagementMBSE, SysML / UMLmodelling and simulationInterface Control Documents (ICDs)FMEA / FTA, traceability and verificationIntegration & Test (I&T)Exposure to electronic warfare (EW), ESM, radar, sensors, avionics, communications, C2 or mission systems is advantageous. Your ProfileEngineering degreeSeveral years' experience in a high-tech engineering environmentExperience with requirements and/or systems engineeringStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsComfortable working across multidisciplinary teamsExperience in defence, aerospace or security is highly desirableProfessional working proficiency in English SecurityThe position is subject to Swedish security screening and applicable security-protection requirements.
