Test Manager Consultant

Role Description The Test Manager Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Gothenburg Metropolitan Area. In this position, the consultant will lead testing activities across projects, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring test execution to ensure high-quality deliveries. Daily responsibilities include defining test strategies, designing and reviewing test cases, overseeing test teams, and managing risks and issues related to testing. QualificationsYou bring hands-on experience from one or several of the following areas: 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, and/or test management Test management and coordination in software development projects Developing and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases Functional, integration, system, and regression testing Defect management, root cause analysis, and quality reporting Automotive software testing and validation processes Working in Agile development environments Test automation frameworks and tools Requirements analysis and test coverage management Experience with CI/CD pipelines and quality assurance practices Familiarity with automotive standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, FMEA or similar is a plus ISTQB certification is a plus Who you areA structured leader who can balance coordinating testing activities with hands-on execution Comfortable moving between strategic planning and detailed test analysis A proactive communicator who can collaborate effectively with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
