Shape the Future of Heavy Machinery: Thesis Opportunities at Kalmar

Background

Thesis Topics Overview

We have several exciting thesis opportunities available across various disciplines. Students can apply for projects within a variety of research areas such as Software, AI & Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering & Electromobility, Mechatronics & Control Systems, Business Strategy, Supply Chain, Logistics & Optimization.

Qualifications / Skills

Depending on the specific thesis topic chosen, we are looking for students with backgrounds in one or more of the following fields:

Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning.Electrical Engineering, Electromobility, or Battery Systems.Mechatronics, Automatic Control, or Embedded Systems.Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Strategy.

Extent

15 (hp) each- This corresponds to approximately 10 weeks.

30 (hp) each- This corresponds to approximately 20 weeks.

Confidentiality

Any discussion about the thesis work with other parties than Kalmar personnel and university direct supervisors needs to be pre-approved by Kalmar.

Any result from the thesis work, including the final thesis report, will need to be reviewed by Kalmar prior to publication.
