VP, Aidian Business System

LOCATION: Espoo, Finland - onsite presence required POSITION SUMMARY:Aidian is seeking a hands-on and experienced transformation leader to establish and embed the Aidian Business System and strengthen the company’s ability to turn strategy into execution. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will act as a key transformation partner to the leadership team and drive continuous improvement across the organization. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong practical Lean experience and be comfortable moving from the leadership table to the Gemba. This is a build role. The successful candidate will create the foundation for a systematic way of working, strengthen execution discipline and develop Lean and problem-solving capabilities across the organization. With no direct reports initially, success will depend on the ability to influence, create followership and drive sustainable changes across functions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Build, develop and embed the Aidian Business System across the organization.Partner with the CEO and leadership team to translate strategic priorities into execution and measurable results.Identify and lead high-impact improvement opportunities across Operations, R&D and other functions.Establish and strengthen Daily/Visual Management, KPI structures, management routines and structured problem solving.Lead hands-on improvement activities, including Kaizens, process improvements and cross-functional initiatives.Coach and train leaders and employees in Lean principles, continuous improvement and problem solving to build sustainable internal capability.Drive a stronger culture of accountability, proactive problem solving and performance.Act as a visible change agent, effectively navigating resistance and creating engagement and followership throughout the organization.Deliver sustainable efficiency and cost improvements while supporting Aidian’s ability to reinvest in future growth and innovation. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:4-5+ years of meaningful hands-on experience where Lean has been the core of your role. Continuous Improvement has been your mindset, and your responsibilities has been driven through Operational Excellence and/or Business System Deployment.Documented track record of personally leading several completed Lean Business PD Projects with measurable, verified business results.Demonstrated experience personally leading Kaizens, process improvements and structured problem-solving activities.Experience in deploying or significantly developing a Lean Business System at organizational level.Strong practical experience within Operations and/or R&D environments.Proven ability to combine strategic transformation leadership with hands-on execution.Strong change leadership skills, including experience managing resistance, influencing senior stakeholders and creating followership without formal authority.Demonstrated ability to coach, train and develop Lean and problem-solving capabilities in others.Experience within diagnostics, MedTech, life sciences or another regulated environment is considered an advantage.Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills combined with a pragmatic, action-oriented approach.Finnish language skills are beneficial but not required.Ability and willingness to maintain a strong onsite presence in Espoo, Finland.
