Workday Consultant (Workday Studio & SAP Payroll Interface) Title: Workday Integration Specialist – Workday Studio & SAP PayrollLocation: Berlin, Germany (Hybrid Setup)Contract Type: Freelance B2B ContractWorkload: Full-Time (100%)Languages: Fluent German & English Position Summary We are seeking a certified Workday Integration Consultant to support a public transport enterprise modernization project in Berlin. In this role, you will lead the redesign and replacement of an existing legacy interface (PaiSy), establishing Workday as the primary leading HR system integrating seamlessly into SAP Payroll. Key Responsibilities Interface Redesign: Lead end-to-end design, development, and testing to replace legacy payroll interfaces with modern Workday SAP Payroll integrations.Workday Studio Engineering: Develop dynamic integration flows using Workday Studio, handling complex payroll data transformations and process triggers.Data & Process Alignment: Ensure precise mapping of payroll-related master data, wage types, and organizational data between Workday and SAP Payroll.Testing & Deployment: Drive end-to-end integration testing, cutover execution, and post-go-live stabilization. Qualifications & Requirements Certification & Tooling: Certified in Workday Studio with hands-on expertise building complex custom integrations.ERP & Domain Knowledge: Strong general understanding of SAP Payroll (PY) structures, processes, and payroll data schemas.Integration Track Record: Proven background replacing, upgrading, or redesigning legacy HR-to-payroll interfaces.Language Proficiency:Fluent German (spoken and written) is strictly required.
