AI Engineer

AI Engineer – Hybrid (Helsinki, Finland) Location: Helsinki Contract: [6 months rolling extensions] We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join a major digital transformation programme. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic AI technologies, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality, production-ready solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Generative AI and LLM-based applications.Build and expose services using Python and APIs.Develop AI agents and agentic workflows using MCP (Model Context Protocol).Build AI solutions using frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or LangGraph.Implement RAG pipelines using vector databases, and apply prompt engineering best practices.Deploy and operate AI solutions using GitHub, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).Apply MLOps and DevSecOps practices to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable delivery.Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems and platforms.Analyse business requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing support.Produce technical documentation and follow AI engineering best practices.Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.Required Experience5+ experience developing AI solutions, including Generative AI and LLM applications.Strong experience with: Generative AI and LLM application developmentPython and API developmentAgentic AI, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and AI agentsAI frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or LangGraphRAG, vector databases, and prompt engineeringExperience with GitHub, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Good-to-HaveExperience with GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio, or other AI developer tools.Knowledge of DevSecOps and MLOps practices.Experience working in Agile delivery environments.Knowledge of the Telecom BSS domain and enterprise integrations.Key SkillsGenerative AI & LLM Application DevelopmentPython & API DevelopmentPrompt EngineeringAI Agents & Agentic AIMCP (Model Context Protocol)LangChain / Semantic Kernel / LangGraphRAG & Vector DatabasesMLOps & DevSecOpsGitHub, Docker & CI/CDCloud Platforms (Azure preferred) This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile digital transformation programme, delivering modern AI-powered solutions within a collaborative and innovative environment.This is a critical position, so contact Kai for a confidential chat and more details.
