Android Developer – Automotive Infotainment Location: Gothenburg (SE) Domain: Automotive Infotainment Role Overviewwe are looking for an experienced Android Developer to develop and maintain customer-facing applications and features within automotive infotainment systems. The role focuses particularly on profile management and multi-user functionality across the Android infotainment platform.You will work closely with Product Owners, Designers and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality and reliable customer experiences. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Android applications and features for automotive infotainment systems.Work with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and AOSP-based environments.Develop profile management and multi-user functionality.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-facing features.Develop and maintain automated tests, primarily using Python.Troubleshoot issues across Android application and platform layers.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, team tooling and development automation.Work with large and complex code repositories.Support Android version upgrades and platform uplifts.Drive technical improvements and take ownership of solutions.Navigate lower-level platform code using basic C++ knowledge. Must-Have Skills5+ years of software development experience.Strong Java and Kotlin programming skills.Strong experience in Android application development.Experience with Android Framework concepts, including:User profilesPermissionsApplication lifecycleExperience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or AOSP.Experience developing and maintaining test automation using Python.Strong Git and Linux experience.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development automation.Basic C++ knowledge.Ability to work effectively in large and complex codebases. Preferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience in automotive infotainment.Vehicle troubleshooting and fault tracing experience.Experience supporting Android upgrades/platform uplifts.University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.Swedish B driver's licence.
