Business Controller – (Battery & Charging)

We at WeQuel are now looking for a Business Controller in Södertälje, where you will become an important part of our client's R&D Controlling team within Battery & Charging, with a focus on acting as a trusted business partner to R&D leadership. You provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and contribute to the successful development of future battery and charging solutions, in an organization where ways of working, systems and roles within R&D are currently undergoing major change.

Financial planning, budgeting and forecastingBusiness partnering through financial analysis, business cases and scenario assessments to support decision-makingKPI follow-up, reporting and presentationsDevelopment of future Controlling processes, methods and tools across R&DBusiness partnering to R&D leaders, including active participation in global management teamsOngoing collaboration across networks and leadership teams, with regular contact with R&D and other Controlling functions

You work in a dynamic, international environment where you independently drive your area of responsibility forward while building strong relationships with leaders and colleagues across the organization.

3–5 years of experience in Business ControllingMaster's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field (Bachelor's degree/equivalent accepted)Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken; fluency in Swedish is beneficialAdvanced digital and analytical skills, including Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint; experience with SAP is a strong advantageProven ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and drive business performance in a structured, analytical wayExperience partnering with senior stakeholders and management teams in a complex, international environmentStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decisions across finance and operationsHigh integrity, curiosity and genuine interest in electrification, battery technology and the transformation of the commercial vehicle industryCollaborative mindset with the ability to create value through teamwork, networking and cross-functional cooperation
