Business Controller
emagine is seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Business Controller to support a Group Finance organization during a transitional period. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where the consultant will play a key role in ensuring operational continuity, providing financial insights, and supporting planning and reporting activities.
The ideal candidate is highly self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently while collaborating closely with finance and business stakeholders across multiple regions.

Duration: 4 months (with potential extension)
Location: Stockholm (Hybrid)
On-site Requirement: Minimum 3 days per week in the office
Working Hours: Standard business hours (09:00–17:00 CET)

Prepare, analyze, and present financial performance reports across regions and business areasDeliver actionable insights and recommendations to support business decision-makingDrive and support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring data accuracy and timely deliveryMonitor financial KPIs, analyze variances, identify trends, and highlight potential risks and opportunitiesPartner with regional and local stakeholders to align financial planning with commercial objectivesDevelop and maintain financial models and reporting structuresEnsure data quality and reporting integrity across finance systems and toolsSupport ongoing finance operations and contribute to continuous process improvements
Your profile
Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Controlling, Financial Controlling, or similar finance rolesStrong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reportingProven ability to transform complex financial data into clear and actionable business insightsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong self-leadership and ability to operate independently in a high-tempo environmentHands-on approach with the ability to work directly in systems and manage detailed financial analysisStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsFluent in English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Anaplan is highly valuedStrong systems and data modeling capabilitiesExperience working in global technology, SaaS, telecommunications, or other fast-growing international organizationsAdvanced Excel and financial reporting tool experienceFamiliarity with complex multi-regional business environments
