SAP ABAP Developer (German Speaker)

Emagine is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer with German to join a collaborative and dynamic project environment. This is an opportunity for an experienced SAP professional to contribute to a long-term international project within the Energy & Utilities sector, working on complex SAP environments and modernization initiatives. What You'll Be Working OnDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP Objects.Analyse business and functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.Perform technical design, development, implementation, and customization within SAP environments.Develop and integrate interfaces, APIs, Web Services, and IDocs between SAP and third-party systems.Work with SAP IS-U and other relevant SAP modules, including FI/CO, SD/MM, FI, EDI, HCM/HR, EWM, or PS.Contribute to SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP UI5 development and modernization initiatives.Support integration scenarios involving SAP PI/PO, IDEX, or comparable integration technologies.Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement technical improvements as part of 2nd and 3rd level support.Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Take ownership of technical topics and contribute to solution design and technical decisions. What We're Looking ForSeveral years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development at a senior level.Strong hands-on experience with ABAP and ABAP Objects.Professional experience within the Energy & Utilities sector.Experience working with complex SAP environments and translating business requirements into technical solutions.Experience with SAP IS-U and/or relevant SAP modules, with practical knowledge of at least two areas such as FI/CO, SD/MM, FI, EDI, HCM/HR, EWM, or PS.Experience developing or integrating SAP interfaces, APIs, Web Services, or IDocs.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong German language skills, at least B2–C1 level.Good English communication skills.Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical topics.Strong communication and collaboration skills. Nice to HaveStrong hands-on experience with SAP IS-U.Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration, conversion, or implementation projects.Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP UI5.Experience with IDEX, SAP PI/PO, or comparable SAP integration technologies.Knowledge of modern SAP development and integration architectures.Experience working in Agile environments, such as Scrum or Kanban.
