Title: Business ControllerLocation: Södertälje, Sweden (100% On-site)Assignment Period: 01 Oct 2026 – 31 Dec 2026 (Strong potential for multi-year extension)Workload: 100% (40 hrs/week) Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Business Controller for a high-impact on-site assignment in Södertälje to support the E-Mobility & Battery Systems division of a leading international commercial vehicle manufacturer.In this role, you will act as a trusted Business Partner to R&D directors, engineering leaders, and project managers. You will deliver financial steering, construct business cases for next-generation technology programs, and actively contribute to modernizing financial management processes across a global engineering organization. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Steering & Planning: Drive budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and multi-year financial planning for the battery and charging R&D organization.Decision Support & Analysis: Construct robust financial models, business cases, and scenario assessments to evaluate major technological and product development investments.Performance Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and present core R&D operational metrics and financial KPIs directly to global management teams.Process Modernization: Contribute to designing, implementing, and refining future Controlling tools and methodologies during major system and operational shifts.Cross-Functional Partnering: Collaborate daily with engineering stakeholders, project leaders, and group finance functions across international locations. Qualifications & RequirementsCore Requirements:Education: Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in Business Controlling within an international engineering, automotive, or industrial setting.Digital Capabilities: Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint for data analysis and leadership presentations.Stakeholder Management: Proven track record translating complex data into clear strategic insights for technical and business leaders.Languages: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Desirable Qualifications:Systems: Experience with SAP modules and enterprise reporting systems.Languages: Professional working proficiency in Swedish is advantageous.Industry Interest: Strong interest in electrification, sustainable transport, and commercial vehicle technologies.
