Title: Software Engineer / Tester – E-Commerce Checkout & PaymentsLocation: Stockholm, SwedenContract Duration: 01 Dec 2026 – 31 Jul 2027 (8 Months, Freelance B2B)Workload: 100% (40 hrs/week) Position Summary: We are seeking an analytical Software Engineer / Tester with strong end-to-end delivery ownership for an 8-month contract assignment in Stockholm. Focusing on customer checkout, payments, and conversion journeys, you will build, test, and maintain resilient, crash-free transaction flows. Key Responsibilities: Own digital checkout features across the full lifecycle: requirement refinement, code development, automated testing, and production monitoring.Write automated test suites, execute edge-case testing, and ensure high application stability and performance.Investigate and resolve production incidents across APIs, authentication layers, payment gateways, and backend integrations.Collaborate with Frontend, Backend/BFF, QA, SRE, Product, and UX stakeholders to deliver seamless releases. Qualifications & Requirements: Documented software development and test engineering experience within e-commerce, digital checkout, or payment platforms.Strong focus on software quality, automated testing, and crash-free production metrics.Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across distributed APIs, networking, and client-backend integrations.Professional fluency in English.
