Director, FP&A - PE-Backed SaaS | Helsinki Our client is a fast-growing, PE-backed SaaS business operating in a high-growth technology sector, recently transitioning into an exciting new phase of ownership and scale. They are looking for an experienced Director of FP&A to lead their finance team through this period of growth and transformation. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly visible leadership role, owning financial planning and analysis for one or more business units while leading a team of Business Controllers and a Senior Analyst. Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a team of Business Controllers and a Senior Analyst, building a high-performance cultureOwn FP&A activities for one or more business units, partnering closely with business leaders on performance, risk, and strategic prioritiesDeliver robust forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and performance reportingAct as a strategic partner to business leadership and the CFO, translating financial data into commercial recommendationsSupport monthly and quarterly close processes with timely, insightful analysisEstablish scalable processes and frameworks, championing AI and technology to improve productivity and decision-making What We're Looking ForExperience within a Private Equity-backed organisation, comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environmentPractical AI literacy, with examples of using AI to drive efficiency or improve decision-makingExperience leading teams through change and transformation5+ years in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Strategy, M&A, Corporate Finance, or similarPrevious people leadership experienceSaaS business experience highly desirableMaster's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Economics, or related fieldStrong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Salesforce, Workday, Adaptive Insights, Tableau, or Power BI advantageousFluent written and verbal English
