EHS Advisor

We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a EHS Adviser to join our team. This position will be site-based in Helsinki, Finland.
Requirements
Support the Project management team and Site Health & Safety leadAdherence to the project & Winthrop Safety Management systemAdherence to relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislationAdherence to Winthrop Technologies PSCS Environmental, Health & Safety PlansReview Method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of action, permit to workCompliance with the project execution planGood Safety Practices are managed & maintainedOngoing C.O.S.H.H assessments, control of hazardous substancesEnsuring that safety interventions are completed & registeredCarry out regular site audits and inspection, document results and follow up on any corrective actionsMaintain records of statutory inspections make available for project activities, tool and plantAdopt a Proactive approach to project EHS requirementsAbility to work either independently or as part of a teamEnsure project sub-contractors adhere to project & group EHS policies & proceduresEnsure that Winthrop Technologies induction & training is coordinated, managed & maintainedCompile & carry out Toolbox talks, as necessaryAssist or carry out accident investigation reports in a timely manner & ensure communication to Winthrop Technologies project managementWelfare & Hygiene facilities are in place, managed & maintainedAttend Daily activity briefings and white board meetingsWaste reduction and recycling programmes are maintained in line with project policies & procedures Requirements:Minimum of 3 years' experience in an EHS role within large-scale construction or industrial projectsThird-level qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related disciplineNEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent recognised Health & Safety qualification). is a nice to haveExperience preparing, reviewing, and implementing EHS documentation, including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Permit-to-Work systems, COSHH assessments, and accident/incident investigation reportsStrong knowledge of current health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, and industry best practicesProven ability to work collaboratively with project managers, site management teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to drive a positive safety cultureBusiness-fluent English, both written and verbalStrong communication, organisational, and IT skills, with the ability to produce accurate reports and documentation
