Embedded Software & Verification Engineer A leading company within a highly regulated industry is seeking an experienced Embedded Software & Verification Engineer to support the development of next-generation connected products.This position offers the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle, combining embedded software development, verification, validation and test automation within a collaborative cross-functional engineering environment. The RoleYou will be responsible for verifying and validating embedded software for innovative products, working closely with software, electronics, systems and test engineers to ensure high levels of quality, reliability and performance. Key responsibilities include:Software verification and validation of embedded systemsDeveloping and maintaining automated test solutionsCreating and executing integration, system and component-level testsDebugging software and hardware-related issuesSupporting requirements analysis and requirements-based testingWorking with cross-functional engineering teams to investigate and resolve defectsContributing to continuous improvements in software quality and testing processesProducing clear technical documentation and test reports RequirementsWe are looking for engineers with experience in several of the following areas:Embedded C and/or C++ developmentSoftware Verification & Validation (V&V)Test automation using Python, Pytest, Robot Framework or similar toolsEmbedded Linux or RTOS-based systemsIntegration, system and component testingHardware-connected testing environmentsDebugging and diagnostics of embedded softwareRequirements-based testing and traceabilityCI/CD and automated testing environments
