Senior FPGA DeveloperMalmo, Skåne County, Sweden (On-site) 12 month contract We’re currently supporting an exciting technology organisation in Malmö looking to bring an experienced Senior FPGA Developer into its engineering team for a long-term assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an FPGA specialist who enjoys taking genuine technical ownership rather than simply working from predefined specifications. You’ll be given the autonomy to drive FPGA design and development independently, influence technical decisions and contribute to solution architecture within a highly technical, international engineering environment. The RoleAs a Senior FPGA Developer, you will take responsibility for FPGA development across the full lifecycle, from initial requirements and architecture through design, implementation, testing and final delivery. You’ll work closely with other developers and technical specialists while having the freedom and responsibility to drive your own work forward. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and implement FPGA-based solutionsTake ownership of technical requirements through to final deliveryContribute to FPGA architecture and key technical decisionsDevelop and optimise digital hardware designsTroubleshoot and resolve complex FPGA and hardware-related issuesWork independently while collaborating with a wider international engineering teamSupport testing, verification and continuous improvement of FPGA solutions What We’re Looking ForStrong professional experience in FPGA developmentExcellent understanding of digital design and hardware developmentExperience independently designing and implementing technical solutionsAbility to take projects from requirements through development to deliveryStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsA proactive, self-starting approachVery good spoken and written English Experience with any of the following would be particularly interesting:Image processing / image analysisVideo processing systemsCamera sensors and imaging applicationsVHDLVerilog / SystemVerilogXilinx FPGAIntel / Altera FPGA Key Contract Details:Malmö, SwedenInternational engineering environment – English is the working languageLong-term assignmentASAP start This position would particularly suit a senior engineer who enjoys being trusted to take ownership, solve difficult technical problems and influence how solutions are designed and delivered.
