Now they're adding two engineers while keeping the same philosophy: small team, high bar, significant individual ownership. What you'll work onYou'll work across the customer booking experience, internal travel platform and mobile product, tackling everything from complex booking workflows to the architecture and performance underneath them. This is a product where customers are making real purchasing decisions and internal teams are managing live bookings. Expect interesting problems around complex state, performance, reusable architecture and creating simple experiences around complicated travel workflows. It's frontend-focused, but in a team this small you'll have the opportunity to work beyond the browser with APIs, services and integrations. What the existing team tends to have in common is a track record of doing unusually well for their level. That might mean graduating from a leading technical university, working in a high-bar engineering environment, becoming a key engineer at a successful startup, progressing through several promotions quickly, or simply having built something technically difficult with significant impact. You don't need all of those things. An engineer who's rapidly progressed at a successful Series A startup can be every bit as interesting as someone from big tech. For this frontend engineer role, you'll ideally have 3+ years' experience, excellent React + TypeScript fundamentals and experience building high-quality software in production. They're particularly interested in engineers who've worked on consumer products, complex frontend architecture or workflow-heavy applications, rather than simply implementing individual components.
