Full Stack Engineer

We are working with a successful Swedish SaaS company developing specialist software for the international aviation and flight-simulation market, creating products for a global community that has millions of active users.

The company combines the stability of an established product business with the collaborative and creative environment of a smaller technology company.

About the position: We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join an experienced product-development team in Stockholm. You will work across backend and frontend development, helping build web and desktop products that process and present complex aviation and real-time flight data. The position has a strong backend and system-design element, but you should be comfortable contributing across the complete technology stack. You will also have the opportunity to influence cloud infrastructure, development processes and technical direction.

What you will work on: Design and develop backend services and user-facing applicationsBuild APIs used by internal products and external development partnersProcess and visualise high-volume, real-time flight dataImprove cloud-native data-processing workflowsDevelop reliable and maintainable software using TypeScript and Node.jsContribute to AWS infrastructure, Docker environments and CI/CD processesLead technical work from initial idea through development and releaseCollaborate with engineering, product, design and technical leadership

Core skills: Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.jsExperience building backend services and designing software systemsFrontend development experience, ideally with ReactGood knowledge of relational databasesExperience with AWS or another public cloud platformFamiliarity with Docker, CI/CD and modern development practicesExperience taking ownership of technical projectsProfessional fluency in English

Relevant additional experience: NestJS, React Native or ElectronRust or WebAssemblyReal-time data, streaming or data-processing pipelinesGeographic, mapping or navigation technologyDebugging or reverse-engineering complex systemsMicrosoft Flight Simulator SDK or simulator integrationsAviation, avionics or flight simulation A background in aviation is not essential.
