Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to help develop and operate the infrastructure behind a business-critical financial technology platform.You will work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, automation, developer experience and operational reliability. Your work will enable engineering teams to build, deploy and operate secure services supporting high-volume financial transactions.

What you will work onYou will join a collaborative technology environment and help:Design, operate and improve cloud and container platformsDevelop reusable infrastructure using Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code toolingBuild and improve CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based deployment processesStrengthen monitoring, observability and incident-management capabilitiesAutomate manual infrastructure and operational processesImprove platform reliability, scalability, security and performanceSupport software engineers with deployment tooling and self-service platform capabilitiesContribute to cloud architecture and longer-term technical decisions

Core skillsWe would like to speak with engineers who have:Professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, cloud engineering or infrastructure engineeringHands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerised environmentsExperience using Terraform, Ansible or comparable Infrastructure-as-Code technologyStrong knowledge of CI/CD, deployment automation and modern development workflowsExperience with AWS, Azure or Google CloudKnowledge of Linux, networking and cloud securityExperience with monitoring and observability toolsProfessional fluency in English (Swedish is desirable)

Relevant additional experienceExperience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:Payments, banking, FinTech or financial servicesHigh-volume or transaction-critical technology platformsGitLab, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD or other GitOps toolingPrometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK or similar observability platformsPCI DSS, DORA or another regulated technology environmentKafka, RabbitMQ or event-driven distributed systemsBackend development using Java, Kotlin, C#, Go or Python Direct payments experience is not essential. We are also interested in engineers from e-commerce, retail technology, telecommunications and other environments where security, scalability and availability are critical.
