QA/QC Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA/QC Engineer to support the delivery of a large-scale data centre project. While experience within data centres is beneficial, it is not required.
Candidates with a strong mechanical or electrical background in building services, commercial construction, industrial projects, or MEP installation are strongly encouraged to apply.
The QA/QC Engineer will play a key role in ensuring all works are executed to the highest quality standards, fully compliant with project specifications, industry codes, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret technical documents including drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and RAMSPrepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as checklists, inspection records, NCRs, technical reports, and handover filesVerify that subcontractors follow approved quality procedures
Site Inspection and Testing
Conduct daily site inspections of mechanical and/or electrical installations (HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, electrical distribution, containment, etc.)Ensure all works conform to project requirements and relevant standardsWitness and sign off on MEP testing and commissioning activitiesIdentify issues, raise non-conformance reports (NCRs), and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Coordination & Communication
Work closely with construction managers, commissioning teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure quality expectations are metParticipate in quality meetings, coordination sessions, and client walkdownsSupport the preparation of handover documentation including O&M manuals, redlines/as-builts, and test reports
Continuous Improvement
Assist in developing and improving quality processes across the projectProvide feedback and lessons learned to support ongoing project quality enhancement
Education & Experience
Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related fieldExperience working in construction, commercial buildings, industrial plants, or MEP contractingPrevious QA/QC experience preferred, but strong engineering candidates looking to transition into QA/QC are welcome
