SAP MDG Lead – S/4HANA Transformation The SAP MDG Lead will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and deployment of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) as part of a large-scale S/4HANA transformation program. The role will drive the target data governance operating model, establish governance processes across key master data domains, and ensure high data quality and business adoption. Acting as a passionate data governance specialist and the primary liaison between business stakeholders, data owners, and technical teams, the MDG Lead will ensure master data readiness for successful S/4HANA deployment. Required Experience & Techno-Functional Skills• SAP experience, including exp in SAP MDG leadership roles.• Proven track record delivering end-to-end SAP MDG implementations within S/4HANA transformation programs.• Excellent stakeholder manager, strong communication and leadership skills in global, multi-country transformation programs.• Strong expertise in SAP MDG-M (Material), MDG-BP (Customer/Vendor), and MDG-F (Finance) domains.• Experience defining enterprise Data Governance operating models, roles, RACI, KPIs, and governance processes. • Deep understanding of SAP MDG data models, business rules, validations, derivations, and duplicate management.• Hands-on experience designing and implementing MDG workflows • Experience integrating SAP MDG with S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and external/satellite applications. • Strong knowledge of data quality management, data harmonization, and governance-driven data consolidation approaches. • Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, business workshops, fit-gap assessments, testing, cutover, and deployment activities.Preferred: SAP MDG certification, SAP Activate certification, and experience in Pharmaceutical Distribution/ Healthcare Services sector S/4HANA transformation programs.
