Senior Android Developer / Technical Lead – Stockholm – Hybrid Empiric are supporting a leading organisation in Stockholm on a Senior Android Developer / Technical Lead requirement. This is a hands-on development role for someone with strong Kotlin/Android experience who can also contribute confidently to architecture discussions, technical design and key platform decisions. The role is hybrid in Stockholm, 2 days per week onsite. Key Skills & Experience7+ years Android development.Strong Kotlin and Java.Native Android development.MVVM.Jetpack Compose / Compose-first architecture.Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.Kotlin Multiplatform / KMP.REST APIs / JSON.Strong architecture and solution-design exposure.Comfortable contributing in architecture meetings.CI/CD, Jenkins and unit testing.Firebase Crashlytics / mobile analytics.Technical leadership and code reviews. AI ExposureGenerative AI / LLMs.RAG.Agentic AI.AI API / SDK integration.Use of tools such as Claude or ChatGPT in development workflows.
