The Role: We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist for one of our clients. What we are looking for: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science fieldExperience using SAS, SQL, R and/or PythonExperience with Business Intelligence tools like Qlik/Tableau/Power BI is highly desirableStrong stakeholder management skills including advanced PowerPoint and presentation skillsExposure to Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive etc. is a plusApplied knowledge of data science techniquesHands-on experience in data mining and application of machine learning techniquesTime zone: CET (+/- 3 hours). Responsibilities: Develop tools to process data streams and static dataTranslate business challenges into data science problems and applicationsCommunicate complex solutions in a clear, understandable way to non-expertsDesign algorithms, build models and prototype solutions for multiple business areasBuild and maintain software solutions while contributing to large-scale object-oriented applicationsWork on evolving data architectures and system solutionsAbstract complex business problems and determine how to use a combination of data to provide a clear, actionable and business-driven answer in a clear, compelling way
