Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor | Sweden

This opportunity is for an Electrical Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a major data centre project in Sweden, working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and construction teams to drive performance, manage risk and protect returns.

The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor (Electrical), you will lead the commercial and contractual function for the electrical scope of the project from early stages through to final account.
You’ll be the key commercial interface with the client and supply chain, ensuring costs are controlled, change is managed properly, and the project is delivered in line with commercial objectives.
This is a delivery‑focused role with genuine autonomy and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Full management and ownership of commercial and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycleActing as the primary commercial interface with the client’s commercial and contract teamsManaging project procurement, including electrical subcontractorsConducting detailed cost control, forecasting and risk analysisReviewing all incoming correspondence from the client, design team and subcontractors, identifying contractually critical issues and initiating responsesManaging the commercial performance of subcontractors, including valuations, variations and final accountsProducing accurate project cost reports, margin forecasts and cashflow reportsManaging change control procedures, negotiating and agreeing costs with the clientPreparing and submitting monthly valuations and certificationsDriving agreement of final accounts in a controlled and professional manner
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within electrical or M&E contractingExperience delivering data centre, mission‑critical, life sciences or pharmaceutical projectsStrong understanding of commercial and contractual managementConfident engaging directly with clients, consultants and senior project stakeholdersCommercially astute, detail‑driven and proactive in managing riskA practical mindset with a clear focus on delivery and outcomes
