Senior Embedded Developer

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Developer for a product-related assignment in an international development environment. You will be an important part of the work to further develop embedded software and create a common software platform together with development teams in Sweden and Canada. Assignment DetailsRole: Senior Embedded DeveloperLocation: Linköping, SwedenStart Date: October 5, 2026Duration: Minimum 6 monthsWorkload: 100%Work Arrangement: Mainly on-site, with the possibility of one day of remote work per weekLanguage: English About the AssignmentYou will strengthen a development team that works closely with both software and electronics in advanced industrial products.A central part of the assignment is to port existing software and contribute to a common platform that can be used across multiple products and development environments.The role suits an experienced embedded developer who is confident in C++ and Embedded Linux, enjoys working close to the technical core, and is comfortable collaborating across technology areas and international teams.The assignment has a long-term product perspective where structure, quality, and sustainable technical solutions are important. Key ResponsibilitiesYou will:Develop and further develop embedded software in C++.Work in an Embedded Linux environment.Port software between products, platforms, or technical environments.Contribute to the development of a common software platform.Collaborate closely with developers and other technical specialists in Sweden and Canada.Participate in technical discussions and contribute senior experience to the team's development work. Required Skills & ExperienceAt least 5 years of experience in C++ development.Experience with Embedded Linux.Good written and spoken English.Ability to work in a structured way and communicate clearly.Comfortable solving technical issues collaboratively in an international organization. Nice to HaveExperience working with international development teams.Experience with software porting.Experience with product development within embedded systems.Experience with electronics-related products or industrial systems.
