Senior Manager - Finance Transformation

Who is the company and what is the context of the role?We are currently supporting one of our clients in the recruitment of a Senior Manager - Finance Transformation as part of the growth of their team. In this role, you will support Finance Leadership teams in their digital transformation initiatives and the optimization of the Finance function. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-value strategic programmes focused on AI, EPM solutions and broader Finance transformation initiatives. You will work in a stimulating international environment, working closely with leading Finance professionals. You will contribute to the definition of roadmaps, lead change management initiatives and support the implementation of innovative technology solutions. This is a permanent position based in Luxembourg! (visa sponsorship available). What will I be doing?As a Senior Manager – Finance Transformation, your responsibilities will include:Leading end-to-end Finance transformation projects, from initial scoping through to implementation and delivery.Managing and coaching project teams involved in the development of AI use cases, automation initiatives, and digital Finance solutions.Assessing emerging technologies, Finance platforms, and market trends to advise clients on strategic decisions.Providing expertise on data management, financial reporting, financial modelling, and advanced analytics.Actively contributing to business development activities, including RFP responses, client presentations, commercial proposals, and the creation of new service offerings.Building and maintaining trusted client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and long-term engagement.Supporting the growth of the team through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and internal capability development. What kind of skills and background will I need?5 years + experience in Finance Transformation, consulting, financial systems implementation, or projects related to Artificial Intelligence and automation.Strong technical expertise in data technologies, automation and with the ability to translate technical challenges into business value.Solid understanding of Finance processes, including accounting, management control, financial reporting, performance management, and regulatory environments.Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and lead teams effectively.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client management skills.Experience with performance management and planning solutions (EPM/FP&A) would be highly valued, including tools such as OneStream, CCH Tagetik, SAP, Oracle, Workday, Pigment, Anaplan, Jedox, …Fluency in both French and English.
