Senior Python Developer (f/m/x)

Join Sii Sweden to strengthen the technical backbone of a large-scale retail platform. You’ll work in the intersection of software development, automation, and infrastructure, helping ensure reliable, secure, and efficient provisioning, deployment, and configuration management across retail and data centre environments.

You will collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and QA/lab teams to design, maintain, and evolve the tools and systems used for repeatable deployments in distributed environments.

Your tasks

Building and maintaining Python-based tools and automation scriptsDeveloping and improving a YAML-driven deployment and configuration frameworkIntegrating and operating automation and platform componentsSupporting automation workflows for bare-metal provisioning and virtualized infrastructureEnabling stable and repeatable testing and deployment together with QA and lab teamsContributing to architectural discussions with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and securitySharing knowledge, supporting other engineers, and contributing to documentation and best practices

At least 5 years of extensive experience in Python programmingSolid Linux administration backgroundHands-on experience with configuration management and CI/CDUnderstanding of virtualization and provisioning workflowsGood knowledge of networking fundamentals and IP management conceptsFamiliarity with identity, secrets management, and monitoringFluent in English, Swedish is a plus
