The Role: We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives on understanding programming fundamentals rather than just memorizing frameworks. In this role, you will join a high-impact team working on the "engine layer" of a rapidly expanding platform. Your journey will begin by optimizing and stabilizing core modular services, eventually leading to the creation of greenfield, AI-powered tools. If you are a first-principles thinker who is comfortable working outside rigid frameworks and excited by the challenge of prompt refinement and LLM integration, this is your next career-accelerating move. What we are looking for: Mastery of Golang (or deep experience in strongly-typed languages like C# or Java with a willingness to master Go).Proven experience with microservices, modular system design, and service-to-service communication.A solid understanding of pub/sub patterns, asynchronous communication, and token-based authentication.A "clean code" advocate with a strong grasp of logic flow and modular design principles.Proficiency in JavaScript and modern UI concepts to handle implementation within internal template systems.The ability to work within custom or proprietary markup/templating systems without the "crutch" of standard third-party frameworks.Located in CET timezone (+/- 3 hours), we are unable to consider applications from candidates in other time zones. Nice-to-have: Practical experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), including prompt engineering and output validation.Familiarity with Dockerized environments and secure, encrypted communication patterns.Experience in security-conscious or highly regulated software environments. Responsibilities: Write robust Go-based business logic for modular services, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with a central engine.Develop new AI-powered features, focusing on refining prompts and ensuring the reliability of model outputs.Bridge the gap between logic and interface by implementing components using internal template languages.Participate in architectural discussions and planning sessions with the core team to extend shared components.Take full ownership of code quality, security awareness, and long-term maintainability.
