Senior Solutions Architect We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role in the modernisation and transformation of our client’s software development platform. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a large-scale enterprise Software Factory, enabling development teams through modern Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native technologies.As a strategic and hands-on architect, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing a next-generation development platform that supports the entire software lifecycle. This is an initial 6–12-month Fixed Term Contract. ResponsibilitiesDefine the target architecture and strategic vision for the organisation's development platform and DevSecOps capabilities.Develop transformation roadmaps and implementation strategies to modernise existing development platforms.Design scalable platform architectures covering software development, CI/CD, security scanning, artefact management, deployment, and operations.Establish integration architectures across development tooling, infrastructure platforms, identity providers, and security services.Support the establishment of Platform Engineering practices and operating models across the organisation.Champion DevSecOps principles and embed security throughout the software delivery lifecycle. RequirementsExtensive experience as a Solution Architect, Platform Architect, or Enterprise Architect within large enterprise environments.Proven expertise designing and implementing modern development platforms and Software Factory capabilities.Strong experience with Platform Engineering principles and practices.Deep knowledge of Kubernetes-based platforms in production environments.Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD architectures and automation frameworks.Strong understanding of DevSecOps, security integration, and automated governance controls.Experience with Git-based development platforms such as GitLab, Bitbucket, and related migration initiatives.Strong experience with Jenkins and modern CI/CD tooling.
