Social Media Manager – DTC Wellness Launch

This role is focused on managing the TikTok and Instagram presence for a US direct-to-consumer filtered showerhead launch in the wellness sector. The position requires publishing 3–5 posts weekly using established content pillars and an evidence-first voice, creating native content in CapCut, Canva, or similar tools, and handling community engagement, including comments and DMs. The manager will also be responsible for escalating customer issues as needed and ensuring all communications align with FTC disclosure requirements and health-claim compliance. Additionally, the role involves overseeing creator seeding for nano- and micro-influencers across niches such as skincare, eczema, hair colour, parenting, PFAS awareness, home/renter living, and science-explainer content. This includes sourcing and outreaching to creators, coordinating product shipping, tracking deliverables, and ensuring proper usage rights before sharing top-performing assets with the ads agency. A concise weekly performance update covering both social and creator activity is expected. The engagement begins with a paid four-week trial, followed by a month-to-month part-time contract of approximately 20 hours per week.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years managing live US DTC social accounts in beauty, wellness, or home sectors Demonstrated experience with creator gifting and outreach programs Native-level English proficiency and availability during US business hours Strong understanding of FTC disclosure requirements and health-claim compliance Proficiency with CapCut, Canva, or similar content creation tools Excellent communication, organizational, and reporting skills Ability to provide links to managed accounts with results and examples of gifting programs
