🚀 Hiring: Software Engineer – NaaS Platform | BT📍 Location: Anywhere in Europe – Remote💼 Work Mode: Remote💰 Candidate Rate: Open🕐 Experience: Mid-Level 🔹 Role OverviewWe are looking for a Software Engineer – NaaS Platform to contribute to the development and testing of network service-provisioning capabilities. The role will focus on NetBox extensions, API integrations, automation, and service-provisioning workflows supporting a Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform.🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain NetBox custom scripts and plugins for service provisioning.Implement and test service-provisioning workflows, including Infrastructure Connection Modify operations.Create and maintain BDD test scenarios using Robot Framework.Contribute to CFS specification implementation and API endpoint development.Support IP address management automation, resource allocation, and routing-plan tooling.Perform integration testing across NetBox, Intent, and Kafka.Participate in code reviews and technical documentation. 🔹 Required SkillsStrong Python programming experience.Experience with NetBox / Django.Hands-on experience with pytest, Pydantic, and Python typing.Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.Knowledge of PostgreSQL and ORM concepts.Experience with Git / GitLab CI/CD pipelines.Experience building and testing containerised applications.Understanding of telecommunications, IP networking, and service provisioning. 🔹 Desirable SkillsKnowledge of BGP, VRF, IPv4, and IPv6.Experience with Kafka or event-driven systems.Experience with Robot Framework and pytest for test automation.Understanding of TMF / telecommunications API standards.Knowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous error handling.🔹 Ideal CandidateCandidates with a combination of Python development + NetBox/Django + API integration + telecom/networking experience will be particularly relevant.
