Vice President (VP), Pharmacology (Relocation to Singapore)

Planet Pharma are currently partnered with an exciting growing biotech and we are actively seeking an experienced VP, Pharmacology to join the business on a permanent basis. This role is based out of their Singapore HQ and would require relocation. Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership for non-clinical Pharmacology and Translational Science activities across a portfolio of novel antibody therapeutics, driving programs from target validation and candidate selection through IND/CTA submission and early clinical development.Define and execute integrated pharmacology strategies, leveraging disease biology, mechanism of action, target engagement, efficacy, PK/PD, biomarker, and safety data to inform key development and portfolio decisions.Lead the design, oversight, and interpretation of in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies, ensuring robust scientific data packages that support candidate advancement, dose selection, and regulatory submissions.Partner closely with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Toxicology, DMPK, Bioinformatics, and other cross-functional teams to develop translational strategies, patient selection approaches, and early clinical proof-of-concept plans.Serve as a senior scientific leader on program and portfolio teams, presenting complex data and clear recommendations to executive leadership, investors, strategic partners, and external stakeholders.Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing pharmacology organisation, fostering a culture of scientific excellence, innovation, accountability, and collaborative problem-solving.Manage departmental priorities, budgets, external CROs, academic collaborations, and scientific advisors to ensure high-quality execution and efficient resource allocation across multiple development programs.Lead pharmacology contributions to regulatory submissions and health authority interactions, ensuring scientifically rigorous, inspection-ready documentation and effective responses to regulatory queries.
