The internship in short

The programme kicks off end of March and will last for 10 weeks (full-time). As an intern, you are recruited to a specific job role where you will be involved in daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of banking. You will be guided by at least one tutor during your internship. You will get to know SEB, meet professionals across the WAM division, get to know other interns and start building your network. Wealth & Asset Management

The Wealth & Asset Management division (WAM) serves a wide range of client segments, including high-net-worth individuals, business families, foundations, private equity firms, institutional investors and corporate clients.

WAM has approximately 2000 employees across 15 markets: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Luxembourg, the UK, Ireland, Singapore, Poland and Switzerland.

What You Will Do

As a Growth & Market Insight intern in Philanthropy & Foundations, you will work closely with the team and contribute to real projects with clear business and client relevance. You will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of private wealth, philanthropy and societal impact, while contributing to the continued development and growth of the area.

Key assignments may include

Conducting market and trend research within philanthropy, foundations and next-generation wealth. Supporting the development of client-facing content, presentations and thought leadership materials. Contributing to communication, growth and client engagement initiatives across relevant channels. Supporting the planning and execution of client events, seminars, surveys and other engagement activities. Identifying relevant target groups, themes and opportunities to strengthen awareness, deepen client engagement and support business growth. Supporting other strategic, growth and business development projects within Philanthropy & Foundations.

Who Are You?

We are looking for a curious, proactive and business-minded student with a strong interest in communication, business growth and the societal opportunities and challenges shaping our world. An interest in philanthropy, foundations, sustainability, next-generation wealth and how private capital can contribute to positive societal change is a strong advantage.

You enjoy combining analytical and strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You are curious about new ideas, trends and developments in society, comfortable taking initiative and motivated by turning insights into action. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating with others.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor or master’s degree within Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering or equivalent You have studied at least 2 years at university level Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients. Excellent oral and written Swedish skills. A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward. Proficiency in MS365 tools.
