The internship in short
The programme kicks off end of March and will last for 10 weeks (full-time). As an intern, you are recruited to a specific job role where you will be involved in daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of banking. You will be guided by at least one tutor during your internship. You will get to know SEB, meet professionals across the WAM division, get to know other interns and start building your network. The Wealth & Asset Management division (WAM) serves a wide range of client segments, including high-net-worth individuals, business families, private equity firms, institutional investors and corporate clients.
WAM has approximately 2000 employees across 15 markets: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Luxembourg, the UK, Ireland, Singapore, Poland and Switzerland.
What You Will Do
We are looking for a Junior Product Specialist within Cash & Securities Services to join our PWM&FO team for an internship. This is an opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues, contribute with new perspectives and grow a network from within.
In this role, you will support our Product Management unit across a range of core banking services, including cash management, accounts and payments. Together with experienced colleagues, you will help handle day-to-day inquiries from our client teams within the division, coordinate activities and contribute to proactive, high-quality client experience.
Working closely with product extperts and other stakeholders across SEB, you will develop your product knowledge and contribute to improving our solutions, processes and ways of working.
More specifically, you will
Build knowledge within cash management, accounts and payments, supported by experienced colleaguesSupport Client Service Partners, Client Executives and clients with inquiries and service needsHelp coordinate client-related activities and follow up on agreed actionsContribute to strong relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholdersWork with product experts and other specialists to improve products, services, processes and digital capabilitiesGather feedback and contribute ideas for continuous improvementContribute to high client satisfaction and the team’s commercial objectives

Qualifications
Ongoing bachelor’s or master’s degree within Business, Economics, Finance or equivalentStudied at least 2 years at university levelStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clientsSome experience from banking, financial services, client service or a similar environment is advantageousA proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.An interest in banking products and services, particularly cash management, accounts and paymentsA genuine interest in financial markets and wealth managementThe ability to learn quickly, ask questions and seek support when neededExcellent oral and written skills in Swedish and English
