ADAS Function Designer

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a ADAS Function Designer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. The roleSafe Vehicle Automation (SVA), consist of around 600 skilled engineers who are responsible for everything from research and advanced engineering, to implementation, verification and validation of current and future customer offers in the area of Safety, Vehicle control and Autonomous Drive. Nested within SVA is the department of AD/ADAS Functions, they develop functions such as Collision Avoidance, Low Speed Assistance, Pilot Assist, Connected Safety and pave the way towards Autonomous Driving (AD). They develop and integrate functionality and SW into a complete product, making use of sensor input such as radar, camera, ultrasonic and lidar, that build a comprehensive perception of the car’s surroundings. ResponsibilitiesYou will be part of the AD/ADAS Functions department, focusing on the development of Collision Avoidance functions.As a Function Designer, you will define function behavior and requirements, support verification activities, and drive product changes as part of our end-to-end function ownership responsibility.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, safe, and customer-focused functionality.Creating great customer value also means contributing to function usability, driver interaction, and the overall customer experience.As part of the ADAS function design you will utilize your Functional Safety and SOTIF knowledge to contribute to the Safety Case.You will work together with the other function design engineers, verification teams, and multiple stakeholders, creating the best ADAS customer functions on the market. The role requires you to have high level of communication, alignment and driving results. Experience / BackgroundBachelors or Masters in Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or similar.Experience in function design, requirement management, project management, automotive product development and execution according to project plansKnowledge of ADAS and Active Safety systems. Experience with Collision Avoidance functions is highly meritorious.Have a passion for our products; A passion for cars and ADAS features.You have experience in system design, UX concepts, as well as good understanding of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and SOTIF (ISO 21448).Experience in system verification and validation.Swedish Driving license B If you are passionate about bringing innovation to the projects you work on, then we would love to hear from you.
