As an Application Transition Manager you will be responsible for leading application and service transitions, establishing new service operations, and driving transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled service delivery, while ensuring business continuity, operational readiness, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Transition & Service Setup ManagementProven experience leading application and managed service transitionsStrong knowledge of transition planning, governance, cutover, and service onboardingExperience establishing new service organizations, operating models, and support processesAbility to manage knowledge transfer, service acceptance, and operational readinessExperience defining SLAs, KPIs, reporting, and governance structures AI Transformation & Service ModernizationExperience identifying and implementing AI-driven service improvementsUnderstanding of GenAI, automation, AIOps, and intelligent service management conceptsAbility to transform traditional AMS and support services using AI and automationExperience building business cases and roadmaps for AI-enabled operationsUnderstanding of responsible AI, data governance, and security considerations Project & Program ManagementStrong project and program management skills in complex IT environmentsExperience coordinating multiple workstreams, suppliers, and stakeholdersAbility to drive steering committees, governance forums, and executive reportingStrong risk, dependency, and change management capabilities Service Management ExcellenceStrong understanding of Application Management Services (AMS)Deep knowledge of ITIL processes and service operationsExperience designing support models, shift-left approaches, and continuous improvement frameworksAbility to establish service metrics and operational performance management Stakeholder ManagementExcellent customer-facing and executive communication skillsExperience working in multi-vendor ecosystemsAbility to lead complex negotiations and manage escalationsStrong workshop facilitation and business consulting capabilities LeadershipAbility to lead global, cross-functional teams without direct authorityStrong collaboration and influencing skillsProven track record of driving organizational change and transformationResults-oriented with a structured and proactive mindset Technical UnderstandingBroad knowledge of enterprise application landscapesExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Understanding of integrations, cybersecurity, and enterprise architectureFamiliarity with ServiceNow, Jira, and modern DevOps practicesUnderstanding of automation platforms, AI services, and observability tooling Language requirementsFluent spoken and written Finnish and English
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent certificationITIL certificationExperience in public sector and regulated industriesExperience in large-scale transition and transformation programsDemonstrated AI transformation leadership in service delivery organizations
