Automation Engineer

Our client is seeking an Automation Engineer to join a strategic investment project within Sweden Operations. The assignment requires high levels of delivery precision, technical expertise, and cross-functional coordination. The project is currently in a critical phase with an increased focus on DeltaV control systems and maintaining steady progress. The purpose of the role is to ensure stable and predictable delivery in line with the defined scope, timeline, and budget. The Automation Engineer updates or creates modules, parameters, and control strategies, and supports internal testing, FAT/SAT, troubleshooting, and documentation updates. The role also ensures that control functions associated with the new equipment are correctly implemented and verified. Qualifications Hands-on automation engineering experience in industrial or pharmaceutical environments.Experience configuring control logic, alarms, interlocks, phases, and sequences.Experience developing and testing HMI graphics and operator interfaces.Knowledge of equipment integration and communication interfaces.Experience supporting FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.DeltaV experience is highly desirable Start: September 2026Allocation: 100% ABOUT ALTEN ALTEN is one of Europe’s largest technology and IT consulting companies, with over 57,000 employees across approximately 30 countries.
